Today was one of those days.
If you’ve been following our journey, you’ll know that many of our posts so far have related to our difficulty in getting fingerprints for Amy’s background check. Many of our posts. Like most of them. With the occasional jam disaster mixed in for variety.
But today, I’m not writing about fingerprints. OK, after this paragraph. We’ve received Amy’s clearance and we’re ready to move on to the next step. Our agency has asked us to be a little covert online about exactly where we are in the process, but I will say that we’re moving forward again. And that feels nice after being stalled and focused on fingerprints for too long.
When this envelope is processed, we’ll receive an appointment to…be fingerprinted again. We’d love for Amy’s to process this time. It’s a different machine for a different agency, so we’re hopeful. But, if you’re looking for an area that you can be praying for, think about the tips of Amy’s fingers again.
